Students from any of the following classes taught by any of our instructors: Guppies, Tunes for Twos, Seasons of Song, Saturday Songs, Getting to Know You, Piano Together, Beginning Ukulele, Suzuki Pre-Twinklers, and Beginning Musicianship: Listening and Learning in Action. Students may also play pieces without accompaniment if necessary.ĮARLY CHILDHOOD MUSIC PROGRAM TO HOST WEEKLY SING-A-LONGSīeginning on Monday, May 4, 2020, at 3:00 pm, students, families, and caregivers of students in the School’s Early Childhood Music Program, First Instrument Classes, and Beginning Musicianship: Listening and Learning in Action, classes are invited to join a new weekly sing-a-long led by HBMS Faculty Member and Dalcroze Certified Instructor Laura Barnet. Children will see friends and sing songs they know and love.įamilies will receive a Zoom meeting link and password the Saturday before each sing-a-long. Please join the meeting between 3:00-3:10 pm. The sing-a-longs will begin at 3:10 pm and end at 3:20 pm. Important note regarding accompaniment: Students may now be accompanied by family members, or by pre-recorded tracks made by HBMS accompanists. A souvenir PDF document of the program will be emailed to each performer. We ask that students still wear Recital attire. ![]() Performances will not be recorded by the School, but parents may choose to record only their child’s performance using their home equipment. Family and friends are invited to join in the viewing of the Recital. Students that wish to perform will still need to have participated in either an Informal or Teen Workshop beforehand. These virtual Recitals, hosted by Associate Dean Kathy Jones, will provide students with the opportunity to perform for a larger audience. Recital dates can also be found herealong with dates for Workshops and Informals.
